It is reported that a 28-year-old lady identified as Eunice has been butchered by her husband in Nungua, a suburb of Accra over the weekend for filing for divorce.
According to reports Eunice and her husband got married last year in a very wedding minimalist ceremony.
It is reported that, not long after the marriage, Eunice discovered that her husband is a serial cheat and a womanizer also.
It is alleged that before Eunice filed for divorce from her violent husband, she had suffered a series of both physical and mental abuses.
But her husband realising that the marriage was about hitting the rocks promised to change for the better but he never did and as a result, Eunice decided to call the marriage a quit.
During one of their many heated arguments over the weekend, her husband used a cutlass to butcher her.
It was reported that Eunice was pronounced dead after she was rushed to the hospital to receive treatment.
It is also reported that Eunice’s husband inflicted machete wounds on his father-in-law.
At the moment, Eunice’s husband is on the run.
It is reported that the Ghana Police Service has been alerted and justice will be served.
