
The former Member of Parliament for Tain Constituency in the Bono Region, Honourable Gabriel Osei has called on all NPP faithful’s to work hard to retrieve the seat of Parliamentary Candidate from the National Democratic Congress. He said ,the disunity within the NPP party at Tain caused them to loose the elections to the NDC. Gabriel Osei who is preparing for a comeback against the incumbent NDC MP , Ramzy Adama Sulemana, said ,the NPP party members at Tain have since eschewed their differences and are ready to wrestle power from the NDC. He said ,the legacy he left as a parliamentary representative of the indigenous people within Tain constituency is unprecedented and has since dwarfed every output by Ramzy Adama Sulemana.
Honourable Gabriel Osei was speaking via phone to Kofi Marfo(Sirrichie) on Hot digital radio online in London. Tain is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. It was created in 2004. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Tain is located in the Bono Region of Ghana.

Death of Daniel Okyem Aboagye

On the demise of the former Member of Parliament of Bantama constituency ,Daniel Okyem Aboagye, Gabriel Osei expressed his sincere condolences to the family of the late MP.
He said ,Okyem Aboagye was a nice gentleman who contributed a lot in parliament during his tenure.
The former Member of Parliament for Bantama constituency in Kumasi Daniel Okyem Aboagye’s demise was announced last Saturday.Okyem Aboagye was MP for Bantama, one of the biggest constituencies in Kumasi from January 7, 2017 to January 6, 2021.His attempt at a second term in office was not successful as Asenso Boakye beat him at the NPP primary ahead of the 2020 election.Okyem Aboagye who was a businessman after spending one term in Parliament became a spokesperson for the New Patriotic Party (MP) on economic issues.

The then aggrieved women appeared to be involved in a land dispute with the late legislator and accused him of using his political powers and connections to cheat them.
One of them who identified herself as Samba mentioned that, she was not going to hesitate to curse the late legislator and his family if he claimed he owned the land.
