
Representatives from Sirrichie News, The Ghana High Commission UK, and Archbishop Kweku Frimpong Manso visited the family of the 15 year old who was stabbed to death by a 17 year old man in Croydon.
Ellyanna Andam, a pupil at the Old Palace of John Whitgift private school, was attacked yesterday morning.
The devastated family revealed to sirrichie.com that ,Ellyanna Andam dreamed of becoming a lawyer in future.

The 17 year accused is believed to be the ex boyfriend of one of Eliyanna’s friends. It is believed the ex girlfriend and one other person had altercation with the 17 year old accused on Tuesday a day before the gruesome murder. The accused is believed to have been in possession of the ex girlfriends bag. The ex girlfriend in the company of Ellyanna went to the accused to collect the bag which resulted into altercation and the eventual murder of Ellyanna.

A tragic statement issued by the family described their ‘beautiful’ child Elianne as the ‘light of our lives’.
‘She was bright and funny, with many friends who all adored her,’ it said. ‘She was only 15, and had her whole life ahead of her, with hopes and dreams for the future.
‘All those dreams have now been shattered. Our lives have fallen apart, along with that of our wider family.’
Within 75 minutes of the incident, a 17-year-old boy was arrested in New Addington on suspicion of murder. Today police were given an extra 12 hours to quiz the suspect, who remains in custody at a south London police station.



The 17 year old accused has been remanded and will appear in court on Friday September 29.
