A momentous day arrives for the final funeral of the late 15-year-old Elianne Andam who was gruesomely murdered by a 17-year-old boy in South London on September 27. The funeral of Princess Elianne Andam will start on Saturday , November 11, 2023.
At 8 am , Elianne’s mortal remains in a coffin will be left outside the family home for friends and loved ones to say farewell.
Led by a hearse, a traditional funeral procession will begin from Elianne’s home on the Derby Road in West Croydon en route to her school , Old Palace of John Whitgift where her school mates and school authorities will say a final goodbye.
The burial service will take place at the New Life Christian Centre in Croydon, to include short readings, prayers , and hymns.
Elianne’s body will be lowered into a grave with flowers and dirt by parents and family members at the Croydon Cemetery , Thornton Road entrance.
As an informal opportunity to grieve, come together, and share feelings about the late Elianne Princess Nana Ama Andam, the family will hold a reception at the Grand Sapphire Hotel and Banqueting Suit, located at Purley , next to the Costco from 2PM until 7:PM.Â
All guest are politely expected to wear the favourite colours of Elianne ,which could be either pink, white, or lilac but definitely not black.
The killing of a teenage girl on her way to school has shocked the community along with the unusual circumstances of her death. Most teenage victims of knife crime are male. Most attacks happen in the hours after school ends. Elianne was stabbed to death on the morning of 27 September. A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with her murder.
