Renowned gospel musician Noble Nketsiah has spoken out about a disturbing occurrence in which a CD of his song was found among items allegedly “under a bind” at a shrine belonging to a fetish priest.
Nketsiah described how a close friend informed him about a video of the shrine being vandalised in Kumasi.
He said the video’s narrator claimed that some objects, such as CDs, were discovered at the scene where the shrine was being destroyed.
“And among the destroyed items, there were some CDs of some rising artistes,” the artiste said in an interview on July 7.
According to the narrator, the CDs found at the scene were placed under a bind so that the artistes the CDs belonged to would never accomplish anything in their career.
“Imagine my shock when I saw that one of the CDs was mine,” he narrated.
Noble Nketsiah noted that he remained unperturbed, adding, “I’m not bothered, these things happen. But I know that God is and has always been by my side.”
He said that although such situations might frighten others, he believes in divine protection.
