Nicolas Jackson does not want to return to Chelsea, despite the club trying to cancel his loan move to Bayern Munich and insisting he must fly back to England.
Reports in Jackson’s home country of Senegal have claimed that the striker is determined to push through a loan move to Bayern Munich.
Chelsea gave Jackson permission to fly to Munich on Saturday to take a medical and complete a season-long loan after agreeing a deal with the German club that would have involved them paying a £13m fee.
But, following Liam Delap’s injury against Fulham, Chelsea informed Bayern that the loan was cancelled and that Jackson no longer had permission to undergo a medical.

The expectation at Chelsea is that, because he is under contract and considered a consummate professional, Jackson will fly back to England and accept the situation, even though there is believed to be understanding over any disappointment.
But reports in Senegal from Jackson’s family have confirmed that Jackson is still in Munich and has no intention of returning or playing for Chelsea. They claim he has not accepted the club’s decision to call off the loan and is furious over the situation he has been left in.
Jackson’s representatives declined to comment when contacted by Telegraph Sport and it now remains to be seen how the situation is resolved. Chelsea have also declined to comment.
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca delivered the grim news on Delap’s injury and hinted the club may be forced to act in the transfer market.
Maresca said: “Liam’s injury doesn’t look good. In terms of another striker, to be honest, we just finished the game from the changing room and came here for the press conference, so now after, when we finish, we’re going to sit and we’ll see if we take any decision. That’s all.”
Jackson was suspended for the first Premier League game of the season after being sent off against Newcastle United last season and was left out of the last two match-day squads in order to try to find a move away from Chelsea.
