Family members revealed that they were initially informed of his death by the agent who facilitated his travel. However, the agent reportedly did not provide further details regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.

The lack of clarity prompted Oyerepa FM and TV to independently contact Canadian authorities and Ethiopian Airlines, with whom Albert had flown.

Both parties confirmed that shortly after his arrival, he collapsed and was rushed to a hospital. Unfortunately, efforts to save him were unsuccessful.
