A rare photo of Police Inspector Bright Appiah Danquah, who has been arrested and placed in handcuffs over his involvement in a series of robberies targeting MTN MoMo vendors in Kumasi and nearby communities.
The officer, said to be stationed at Kumasi Abuakwa, is accused of robbing a mobile money vendor of GH$38,600 at gunpoint.
In a shocking twist, reports indicate that after the robbery, he mistakenly left his mobile phone at the crime scene.
According to sources, Inspector Bright Appiah Danquah later went to the police station to report the phone as stolen, only to come face-to-face with the same victim who had also arrived to report the robbery incident.
