According to multiple reports, the woman was rescued after security officers received a distress call from the Jubilee House Information Control Department around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

When asked how she ended up in the gutter, the woman explained that some men chased her the previous night, forcing her to hide inside the drainage in a bid to seek refuge.

The woman pointed to an area across the road and led the soldiers and other security personnel to an opening. Upon arrival, she indicated that she entered the gutter through that opening.
