Manchester United will remain without Anthony Martial, Diogo Dalot and Jadon Sancho for their Carabao Cup first leg clash against Nottingham Forest.
Martial and Dalot both missed Sunday’s 3-2 defeat at Arsenal through injury, with Sancho only returning to first-team training last week.

United head to the City Ground amid a frantic run of fixtures in January with Erik ten Hag confirming the trio will have no role to play on Wednesday.
‘The players who were not available for the Arsenal game – Dalot, Martial, Sancho are also not available for tomorrow,’ ten Hag told a press conference on Wednesday.
Dalot returned from his World Cup campaign with Portugal with a hamstring injury, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka enjoying a run in the side as a result.
The Portuguese full-back did return to the side early in January, playing the full 90 minutes in the FA Cup win over Everton and making two appearances off the bench against Bournemouth and Charlton but the 23-year-old has not been in the squad for United’s last three matches.
Martial meanwhile was replaced at half-time during the 2-1 win over Manchester City but was also absent from the squad against Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
The former Monaco starlet picked up a knock ahead of the City win with ten Hag describing it as ‘a small thing in his leg’ but the striker remains unavailable with Wout Weghorst in line to start his third game in a week for his new side.
Sancho meanwhile has not played for the club since October, undergoing a personal training camp in Netherlands with coaches recommended by the United boss in December.
While he is back in training, ten Hag is carefully managing his return having revealed the player has been struggling ‘physically and mentally’ this season.
