A 91-year-old man has been charged with murdering his 92-year-old wife.
Avon and Somerset Police said Anne Woodbridge was found dead at a residential address in Weston-super-Mare on Monday morning.
Her husband, John Woodbridge, of Ashcombe Road, Weston-super-Mare, has since been charged with her murder.
A force spokesman said Woodbridge had been due to appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
