The Deputy Director- General of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training ( CTVET) Peter Antwi- Bosiako has said, the government has invested GHS 15 billion into the TVET project to revamp all Technical institutions across Ghana.
He was speaking on Ghana’s Biggest Conversation hosted by Kofi Marfo ( Sir Richie) on Hotdigital online radio in London.
He said the TVET has been made attractive by the Akufo-Addo administration and it will be the superior alternative for parents desire to send their children to only the few recognised universities in Ghana.
He said ,the government has merged the National Vocational Technical Institute ( NVTI) which overlooked Vocational schools, Technical examination unit responsible for Technical institutions and the National Board for Professional Examination to enhance Technical and Vocational education in Ghana.
