Four vehicles with registration numbers GX- 4649-22, GR-8709-18, GE- 5801-12 GG-2102-23; Honda civic saloon car, Kia Cargo car, Toyota 4 Runner, and Urvan bus are reported to have been involved in an accident at Gomoa Okyereko.
Nine passengers are reported to be seriously injured after the four cars crashed at Gomoa Okyereko Junction on the Kasoa Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region
The accident is reported to have occurred on Monday, 8th May 2023 evening.
The Public relations officer of the Ghana National Fire Service Winneba Branch, ADO1 Ebenezer Fiifi Dadzie revealed that the Honda Civic saloon car made a wrongful overtaking but lost control and collided with the Cargo leading to the accident.
According to ADO1 Ebenezer Fiifi Dadzie, all the victims have been rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.

Three people have been confirmed dead in a motor accident at Ntoaso in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.
The vehicles involved were a 4×4 Kia Sorento with an unregistered number DV 9593-B and two Benz Sprinter buses with the registration numbers GW 8962-22 and GT 5596-14.
The Nsawam accident reportedly occurred around 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 6.
According to eyewitnesses, the speeding Kia Sorento collided with the two buses that were parked along the stretch.
Several people sustained varying degrees of injury and were transported to the Nsawam Government Hospital for medical attention.
The Police were on the accident scene to start investigations.
