The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) UK branch, Kingsley Adumata Agyapong fiercely engaged the National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yammin, during a radio discussion about the achievements of incumbent President Nana Addo and former President John Mahama

Joseph Yammin said the deceiving NPP government has spent over seven years during which nothing substantial has been accomplished and deliberate discourteous mannerisms in overlooking their roles in the success of projects. He said the current electricity stability in Ghana must be credited to former President Mahama, however, the ruling party is reaping what they did not sow. Joseph Yammin added that, instead of completing projects embarked upon by former President Mahama, the NPP is rather retarding progress due to the government’s failure to honor its financial obligations to the contractors.

On his part, Kingsley Adumata said, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has no moral right or justification to talk about road projects after misleading Ghanaians in their green book. Mr. Kigsley Adumata said, that the NPP government, under the leadership of Nana Addo, has always been committed to ensuring that all 16 regions had their share of the national cake and has demonstrated this through the execution of numerous policies and initiatives that have positively impacted on the lives of all Ghanaians, regardless of their political affiliation.

On his part, NDC Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande asserted that the kind of hardship and mismanagement the current government has inflicted on the country is unprecedented. He opined that dying Ghanaians will chase the elephant back to the jungle come the 2024 elections.

The NDC Deputy General Secretary, Mustapha Gbande, NDC National Organiser, Joseph Yammin, and NPP UK chairman, Kingsley Adumata, locked horns on Ghana’s Biggest Conversation, a political discussion program hosted by Kofi Marfo (Sir Richie) on Hot Digital Radio in London, yesterday.
