The Government spokesperson on Governance and Security, Palgrave Boakye Danquah, has confidently said, with the 2024 election victory starting at the Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, he is willing to even go to the extreme of betting on his house or life for the inevitable victory.
In a live one on one interview with Kofi Marfo (Sir Richie) on Rainbow Radio 92.4 FM in London on Saturday, the Government spokesperson on Governance and Security said, Ghana at this critical moment needs critical thinkers with innovative and fresh ideas to lead the country, and with Dr Bawumia’s aim to accelerate digitalization and embrace the revolutionary stage of technology, the now decerning Ghanaians who think about the future will never look elsewhere than vote for Dr Bawumiah in the 2024 election.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia will win the 2024 presidential election and thus make it impossible for former president John Mahama to enter the Jubilee House, he said.
He said the 2024 elections will be based on comparison analysis between Dr Bawumia and the main opposition leader, John Dramani Mahama who is seeking a re-run for the presidency, as an attempt to do more damage to the country.
Palgrave Boakye-Danquah added that, since assuming office in 2017, Mr Bawumia has championed a plethora of digital transformation initiatives, especially within the public sector. This drive, he said, won him accolades like “digitalisation man” or “digital Bawumia.”
Some of Dr Bawumia’s digital initiatives include Ghana.gov payment options, mobile money interoperability, and GhanaPost GPS, amongst others.
Asked by Sir Richie about the latest development surrounding the murder of his uncle, the former MP for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye-Dankwah in 2016, Palgrave answered by saying “The Justice System Is Slow”, however he still has the confidence in the Inspector General of Police to bring this case to a lasting solution, with a stiffer punishment to all those involved. Palgrave Boakye Danquah is on a short break in London after the NPP parliamentary primaries which were held on January 27. Mr Boaky-Danquah competed with the incumbent MP, Gifty Twum-Ampofo and two other candidates, Nana Ampaw Addo-Frimpong and Nana Kwame Mamfe. Boakye-Dankwah had 76 votes, whilst the incumbent MP Gifty Twum-Ampofo and Nana Ampaw Addo-Frimpong secured 202 and 222 votes respectively.
