In a statement dated February 14, 2024, the Vice-Chancellor of STU, Prof Kwadwo Adinkra-Appiah said the management treats the allegations with utmost seriousness.
He said the Management has swiftly set up a committee to investigate the issue and recommend necessary actions.
“It is worth stating that Sunyani Technical University has a strict zero-tolerance policy on all forms of sexual harassment or misconduct, and the management would not tolerate any violations of the existing policies on such practices,” a part of the statement read.
The statement further stated that any lecturer who is found guilty would face severe sanctions.
