
A woman has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in Croydon. Police raced to Oliver Grove, South Norwood, at about 5pm yesterday (Thursday, April 23) to reports of an assault.
There they found the boy, 17, who was taken to hospital with stab wounds. His injuries were not life-changing or life-threatening.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and robbery. She is in custody
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At around 5.03pm on Thursday, (April 23), officers were called to reports of an assault on Oliver Grove, South Norwood.
“Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance and located a 17-year-old boy with stab wounds. He was taken hospital where his injuries were assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
“A 19-year-old woman has since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and robbery. She remains in police custody.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5pm yesterday (Thursday, April 23) to reports of a stabbing in Oliver Grove, South Norwood.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, a motorcycle paramedic, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene.
