Kumasi, Ghana – Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to community development and social responsibility, the Bantama Executives Club-UK has donated essential maternity supplies worth £4,000 to the Maternity Ward of Suntreso Hospital in Kumasi.

The donation forms part of the Club’s core mission to give back to the Bantama community and its surrounding areas while supporting the welfare of its members and residents. Following consultations with the management of Suntreso Hospital, the Club identified the maternity ward as a key area requiring support.
The Club presented 70 maternity hamper bags, each accompanied by an envelope containing GH¢100 in cash to assist new mothers. Every hamper contained essential items for both mother and baby, including: A pack of soap, milk, milo, bread, diapers, and sanitary pads.

The thoughtful donation was warmly received by hospital management, staff, and beneficiaries, who expressed appreciation for the Club’s generosity and concern for maternal and child healthcare.
The event was further honoured by the traditional leadership of Bantama. Following a courtesy visit by the Club to Baffour Amankwatia IV, Bantamahene, the chief delegated the Odikro of North Suntreso, his linguist, and other respected traditional leaders (Nananom) to represent him and lend their support during the presentation at the hospital.

Speaking during the presentation, representatives of the Bantama Executives Club-UK reiterated that the organisation’s highest purpose is to give back to the Bantama community, improve the well-being of its people, and provide mutual support to members whenever the need arises.
Beyond healthcare, the Club remains committed to promoting sustainable community development through three key objectives:
Health: Supporting hospitals and clinics through donations while promoting public education on health and wellness.
Cleanliness: Encouraging environmental sanitation by educating residents on the importance of keeping communities clean and supporting Assembly Members in community clean-up initiatives.
Crime Prevention: Working alongside Assembly Members and local vigilante groups to educate residents and support initiatives aimed at preventing crime and improving public safety.
The donation to Suntreso Hospital reflects the Club’s continued dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of people within the Bantama community and reinforces the importance of diaspora organisations partnering with local institutions to improve lives.
As the Bantama Executives Club-UK continues its charitable work, the organisation hopes to inspire more individuals and groups to contribute towards building healthier, cleaner, safer, and stronger communities across Ghana.
